Hillary Clinton, who was the former Secretary of State, criticized Elon Musk’s proposal to give pop star Taylor Swift a child.
She noted that his social media post had been “creepy and rotten.”
Swift then endorsed the Democratic candidate for the 2024 presidential election in an Instagram post.
Musk, who is backing Donald Trump in the presidential election in 2024, responded to Swift’s Instagram post by saying that he would give her a child and take care of her cats.
Clinton, who was the Democratic nominee in the last election, said that Musk’s post was another example of sexual harassment.
During her appearance on a podcast, she said that some of Trump’s supporters were not happy with Swift’s success.
Clinton noted that Trump’s supporters were mainly focused on misogynistic and violent behavior.
They were also influenced by the so-called “masters of the universe” in the technology industry.
She referred to Swift as an example of a self-made billionaire who gave women life lessons.
Clinton stated that Trump would have been triggered if Taylor Swift had endorsed Harris before the presidential debate.
She said that it would have overshadowed the event.
Since it occurred right after the debate, Trump’s supporters were likely motivated by Swift’s endorsement.
On Sunday, Trump wrote on his social media platform that he was “hateful” of Swift.
Clinton was then asked about Musk’s post, which he later deleted. In the post, he claimed that no one was trying to kill Harris.
During an interview with Katie Couric on Monday, Clinton urged people to set aside their differences and work together to elect a candidate who will be able to address the issues that affect the country and the world.
