According to reports, the actor called the White House to voice his concerns about the president’s criticism of the UN’s International Criminal Court.

The event, which will be held at the renowned Peacock Theater, is expected to raise millions of dollars.

For an entry fee of $250, one can get in the door, while a couple of million dollars can be spent for VIP packages that include photos with the president and former US President Barack Obama. Biden is expected to arrive in Los Angeles after attending the G-7 summit in Italy.

Since he’ll be in Los Angeles for the event, Clooney will not be able to attend the summit in Switzerland, which is focused on finding ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

Also, Kamala Harris, the US’ vice president, will be there.

This comes after it was reported earlier this month that the actor criticized the president for criticizing the ICC. His wife, Amal, is a human rights lawyer.

In his call with the White House, George Clooney criticized Biden for dismissing arrest warrants issued by the ICC against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Ministry Minister Yoav Gantz.

According to the actor, the president should have been more concerned about the country’s security instead of the ICC’s actions.

The Washington Post reported that the actor was also unhappy with how the Biden administration initially planned to punish the court.

Obama will be with Clooney and Roberts for their Los Angeles fundraiser, which will also feature an interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

In a message to his supporters, Roberts said that it’s an important time in the presidential election.
