The incident occurred in Mississippi when the animals dove into a lake to chase a deer.

According to Bob Gist, he knew the animals had no chance of survival.

According to Gist, a deer can swim across the Mississippi River. He and his companions didn’t think the dogs would survive unless somebody acted immediately.

Gist, who is an insurance agent from Arkansas, and Jordan Chrestman, a guide, decided to head to the area in their small boat.

As the dogs were swimming in circles, Gist and his companions started grabbing them.

Due to the number of animals that were in the lake, they had to make three trips to the shore to save them.

Gist snapped a photo of the rescue while he was sitting on the boat’s bow. Beside him were several hound dogs, all of which were wearing sunglasses.

Also, numbers from their fox hunt were painted on their sides. Two of them were staring at Chrestman as he steered the boat.

Jordan, Gist stated, was the hero of the rescue. Without his quick actions, there would have been around 38 dead dogs.

The guide and his companions had to go into the water to retrieve the animals, which were already exhausted.

After the animals were rescued, Gist estimated that the last one spent about 45 minutes in the water.

An expert said that hound dogs are known to follow a game with a lot of energy.

However, it’s rare for them to go very far from the shore.

Although they were hunting for fox, Gist noted that it’s not uncommon for the dogs to chase after animals that startled them.

He said that whenever an opportunity presents itself, they try to act on it.
