A professional bodybuilder named Andre Cavalcanti died in a road accident on July 5.
He was riding on a motorcycle along a road between Jataizinho and Ibipora when he collided head-on with a teenager riding on a joyride.
According to Vitor Dutra, the young man was overtaking another vehicle when he crashed into the motorcycle.
It’s believed that Cavalcanti was killed at the scene.
The teenagers, who were not identified, were taken to a hospital due to their injuries.
The 17-year-old boy could be charged with homicide as an adult.
His parents reportedly did not realize that he was a passenger in the car with two other young people.

The bodybuilders association of Parana announced on its Facebook page that it was sad to report that one of its athletes, Andre Cavalcanti, died following a motorcycle accident this morning.
The statement released by the organization stated that Cavalcanti was a promising athlete who lived a full life.
