As a child, Cena was able to hold the Guinness World Record for having the most requests from children.
Through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to kids with critical illnesses, he was able to meet many of them.
Despite his achievements, the wrestler still doesn’t want kids. In 2022, he opened up about his decision during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

He said that he has been enjoying his life so much that he doesn’t feel like he has enough time to add more to it.
According to the wrestler, it can be hard to balance his professional and personal lives.

He also noted that just because he might be good at something, it doesn’t mean that he should be able to pursue it.
The wrestler stated that he has to have the necessary fuel to pursue his passion for acting.
He married his wife, Shaya Shariatzadeh, in 2020.
Their marriage is his second, following his first with Elizabeth Huberdeau.
