He was able to shoot and kill one attendee after he was positioned on the roof of a plant about 130 yards away from the event.

Snipers immediately apprehended Crooks, who was carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.

He was also wearing a shirt that featured the logo of a YouTube channel known as Demolition Ranch, which has millions of subscribers.

In videos that were shared online, a US Secret Service agent can be seen standing over the body of Crooks.

Wearing all gray, Crooks was seen lying on the ground. He had blood running across his face and hair.

One of his former classmates said that Crooks was a loner who didn’t seem like he was very strange.

Crooks probably had a group of friends, but not many. When asked why he wasn’t in the yearbook in 2022, one of his classmates said that he might have left after Covid.

Crooks was from a town about 40 miles away from Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

According to state records, he was registered as a Republican.

On January 20, 2021, Crooks gave $15 to a political action committee that’s known as ActBlue, which was on the day of former President Joe Biden’s inauguration.

He was 17 years old at that time. He had also registered to vote as a Republican when he turned 18.

The school district of Bethel Park confirmed that Crooks was one of the members of the class of 2022 on Sunday.

The streets around his home were blocked off by law enforcers on Sunday. A neighbor said that he saw a bomb squad preparing to enter the residence.
