Twin Boy, 5, Bakes to Death After Being Left in Hot Car for Seven Hours

A 5-year-old boy died after his foster mother left him inside a hot vehicle for several hours in Nebraska.

The incident, which happened on Wednesday, is the 10th such death in the country this year.

According to police, the boy, Dionicio Perez, was left inside the vehicle for around seven hours.

According to the prosecutors, Pinon, who had a criminal background, parked her car and went to work.

The boy died due to the lack of oxygen, and his body temperature reached over 105 degrees.

Pinon was immediately arrested and charged with neglect. She reportedly has five other children with her.

A local news outlet reported that Pinon’s bond was set at $2 million. This isn’t her first time in trouble with the law.

In 2016, she was convicted of theft by deception after scamming non-English speaking individuals out of thousands of dollars.

The child’s biological parents, Jenny and Pablo Lopez, tried to get custody of their son, but the state reportedly told them that the boy was in good hands.

Perez’s biological mother, Jenny Lopez, is trying to gain custody of the boy’s twin sister.

According to a Gofundme page, she needs to raise money to hire a lawyer and bring the girl home.
