After moving to Spain and changing her name, actor Amber Heard has no plans on returning to movies.
The former model and actress relocated to the country after the court case involving her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, was concluded.
She reportedly left Hollywood and moved to different countries due to the backlash she received.
While Depp was at the Cannes Film Festival to receive an award for his performance in “Jeanne du Barry,” Heard relocated to Madrid and raised her daughter in a different environment.
Before her identity was revealed by the media, she was seen in a remote village in Mallorca.
Heard reportedly moved to Madrid and has no plans of coming back to Los Angeles.
Her IMDB page indicates that she doesn’t have any projects lined up yet.
She reportedly decided to relocate to Spain after she lost a defamation case against her ex-husband in the US.
In 2018, Heard wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post, where she discussed her experience with sexual and domestic abuse.
Although she didn’t explicitly name Depp, she was sued for defamation. She then countersued him for $100 million, which resulted in the case being covered in different parts of the world.
After the case went to a jury, it ruled in favor of Depp’s original lawsuit and Heard’s counter-claim.
All of the outstanding issues from the case were reportedly resolved by the end of 2022, and she reportedly moved to Spain.
According to a source close to Heard, she is now focused on her daughter.
According to her family, Heard is a great mother to her daughter, and she enjoys going on family time and visiting various parks.
With no projects listed on her IMDB page, it’s clear that she doesn’t plan on working in the future.
The actor, who has been using the name Martha Jane Cannary since 2001, took on the character Calamity Jane.
