Beloved TV Chef Killed In Horror Accident

Celebrity chef Naomi Pomeroy, who appeared on the TV series Top Chef Masters, died on Monday at the age of 49.

According to reports, she was killed in a river accident while she was with her family in Oregon.

She reportedly had been tubing with her husband Kyle Webster and a friend when the tragic incident occurred.

According to the reports, Naomi and her companions were tubing on the Willamette River when they hit a tree and were thrown into the water.

Her friend and husband were able to swim to safety. However, the chef was reportedly thrown underwater and died.

Multiple news outlets reported that their flotilla overturned due to the river’s swift and moving currents.

The body of Naomi was recovered from the river near Corvallis at around 8:25 pm on Saturday.

She was reportedly not wearing a life jacket when the accident happened.

The authorities noted that it was very challenging to retrieve her body due to the strong undercurrent.

In Portland, Naomi was known for her work in the local food scene.

In 2014, she received the James Beard award for Best Chef: Pacific Northwest. She also led the establishment of the Beast restaurant, which eventually became known as Ripe Cooperative.

She recently opened a new establishment called Cornet Custard.

Naomi gained fame after appearing on the hit television series Top Chef Masters.

Besides this, she also appeared on other shows such as Bobby’s Triple threat and Iron Chef.

She also authored the book Taste & Technique, which shares recipes that can improve your home cooking.

One of her former restaurant’s customers, Gary Okazaki, referred to her as a rock star chef.
