The body of a baby believed to be that of Miya Rudd was discovered at 1:15 pm on Friday in Reynolds Station, according to the Kentucky State Police.
The body was discovered in a concealed manner. It will be taken to the medical examiner’s office and the Ohio County coroner’s office.
The investigation regarding the baby’s disappearance is still ongoing.
The infant was reported missing after a welfare check was conducted at her home in Deanfield Church Road, where it was discovered that her grandparents and parents were involved in drug dealing.
The parents of the infant are Cage Rudd and Tesla Tucker.
Her grandparents, Ricky Smith, and Billie Smith, were also taken into custody during the course of the investigation.
Billie Smith was wanted on a domestic violence charge from 2023.
The police searched the home of David and Taletha Tucker, the maternal grandparents of the missing baby Miya Rudd.
Although the police did not find the baby, they arrested both individuals due to their outstanding warrants.
Brodie Payne was also taken into custody after he was linked to a drug operation that was being held at the residence of the baby.
