Tesla and X owner Elon Musk has welcomed his 12th child. He and his partner, Shivon Zilis, welcomed their new baby earlier this year.
Although the public learned about the new arrival after it was reported, Musk noted that he and his family knew about his growing family.
He said releasing a statement to the media would have been “bizarre.”
In an interview with Page Six, Musk denied the rumors that he secretly fathered his child.
He noted that the failure to address the issue in a press release was not a secret, and that all of his family members are aware of the child’s existence.
Even though he has confirmed the baby’s birth, the sex and name of the infant have not been revealed.
The details of Musk’s latest child were first reported by Bloomberg on Friday, June 21.
The article, which focused on the entrepreneur’s obsession with the world’s birth rates, was titled “Elon Wants More Kids.”
The story did not provide a response from Musk when asked about the child.
In response to the news about his new child, Musk noted that many countries are already experiencing low birth rates.
He noted that this is not a hoax and that the trend will continue. In November 2021, Musk and his partner had twins.
The twins were born a month before Musk and his partner, singer Grimes, became parents.
The child’s existence was revealed in an article published by Vanity Fair, where the infant started to cry during an interview.
In 2022, Musk stated that he wants to have more kids as he enjoys being a good father.
In 2021, he posted an article on his website stating that the world’s declining birth rates is the biggest threat to civilization.
His former wife, Kim Grimes, is currently suing him for the rights to their three kids. He also has four other children with his ex-girlfriend, Justine Musk.
The youngest of his children, Nevada, who was only 10 weeks old, died due to sudden infant death syndrome.
