One month has passed since the video of “Hawk Tuah” woman, Haliey Welch, was posted online.
She coined the phrase “Hawk Tuah” before spitting on that thang in a video that was posted on YouTube and TikTok.
The creators of the video, Tim & Dee TV, have since complained that they haven’t been given enough recognition for their work.
When DeArius Marlow and Tim Dickerson asked Haliey what one move in bed makes a man go crazy, she said “Spitting on that thing, you get me.”
This prompted her to trademark the phrase “Hawk Tuah,” and she’s reportedly been getting paid a lot of money to appear in public.
Sources close to TMZ claim that Haliey was paid $30,000 to appear at a nightclub in Hollywood, Florida, which was called Daer Dayclub.
The event was organized to celebrate her recent Instagram post, which has already gotten over a million followers.
It was held in the city between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Haliey was there to judge a swimsuit competition, where she was joined by her friend Chelsea Bradford, who appeared in the video.
As she cried, footage from the event showed how much attention she has received.
It’s not just her appearances that have been earning her a lot of money.
In Marshall County, Tennessee, Jason Poteete’s Fathead Threads partnered with Haliey to create custom-made hats that featured the phrase “Hawk Tuan ’24” on them.
According to Poteete, they sold around 2,000 of the hats in just a couple of days.
Haliey took the time to talk to her followers about the various rumors that have been floating around about her.
