The day before the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, Madonna made an appearance at the New York City premiere.
The pop icon, who used her 1989 song Like A Prayer in the film, posed for photos with her daughters, 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere.
She also joined the film’s stars, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
While wearing black, the Material Girl looked stunning. Her daughters, on the other hand, opted for oversized sports jerseys.
According to People, Jackman and Reynolds went to Madonna’s home to ask her permission to use her song “Like a Prayer” for the movie.
In an interview with Andy Cohen, Reynolds explained that Madonna did not just license the use of her song.
He said that it was a big deal to ask for the use of her song, and they showed her how it would be used.
Moreover, the singer gave them helpful suggestions on how to use her song.
The Material Girl was also able to give a great note. According to Reynolds, she was so impressed by her that he told her to do it, even though she didn’t know how to sing it properly.
It also helped that her son, David, is a huge Deadpool fan.
The 65-year-old mother of five children also has Mercy, 18, and Rocco, 23, as well as David, 27, and Lourdes, 18.
