A video of a passenger refusing to give up her seat for a bargain of $1,500 on an oversold flight has gone viral on Tiktok.
Viewers were shocked by her decision and questioned her judgment.
The passenger, who was upset about her leave, stated in her text message that she wanted to give up the seat for the money.
A video posted by user @collinskaye shows a woman sitting on the plane while a flight attendant makes an announcement.

It then appears that someone took the offer of giving up the seat for the money.
After explaining that the money was in cash, the passenger said that the airline would reschedule the trip and provide her with a free night’s stay.
Many of the comments posted on the site supported the passenger who didn’t want to give up her seat.
They also stated that they wouldn’t have hesitated. One person noted that they would have already checked into their hotel room and called the airlines to request an extension.
Some noted that they would have given up the seat for a write-up of about $150.
Others said that they would have given up the seat immediately and stated that the flight had been having issues.
Another user claimed that the passenger should have told the other passengers about the cancellation of the flight.
The US Department of Transportation stated that airlines may sometimes offer to accommodate passengers who are not available for the scheduled flight.
This practice, which is referred to as “bumping,” occurs when the airlines oversell certain flights in order to accommodate more people.
