Last week, Netflix released A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, which stars Wednesday’s Emma Myers.
Based on Holly Jackson’s book, the six-part series follows Pip Fitz-Amobi as she investigates the murder of a fellow student five years prior.
Matthew Baynton and Anna Maxwell Martin are also in the cast. Dolly Wells, who directed the critically acclaimed Dracula, takes over as the series’ director.
Following the release of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, it’s believed that other books by Jackson, such as Bad Blood and Kill Joy, will also be adapted into TV shows.
Over the weekend, fans shared their thoughts on the series on social media.
Many of them praised the show, stating that it exceeded their expectations.
One individual noted that the series is the perfect thriller or mystery for anyone who has a spare weekend.
Although the person next to them may not have watched the same amount of episodes as they did, they still enjoyed the show.
Another person stated that it was a must-watch show.
While some of the fans praised Emma Myers’ performance, another individual noted that the other cast members were not at their best.
They noted that the show’s light murder mystery touch eventually gave way to a dark one in the second half.
Another viewer stated that the series went too young in its final episodes.
