‘Seinfeld’ Actor DEAD at 71

Hiram Kasten, a comedian from New York, died on Sunday at the age of 71.

His wife, Diana Kisiel, announced his death on Facebook.

According to Diana, her husband’s health started to decline in 2017 due to his ongoing battle with Crohn’s disease and prostate cancer.

He is survived by his wife, who was his caregiver throughout his final days.

On June 16, Diana wrote that her husband died in her arms. The couple got married three years later.

A funeral service for the comedian will be held in New York.

According to Kastenbaum, a public memorial service for the comedian will be held in LA this summer.

According to the post, he only told his friends about his condition in the last six months due to his illness.

The support he received from his friends and the comedy community helped him prolong his life.

Diana noted that it was his last two months with his friends that he enjoyed the most. He played Michael on the TV show “Seinfeld.”

He became famous after he became a regular performer at New York’s Comic Strip.

He also worked at various other establishments, such as the Comedy Cellar, Dangerfield’s, and the Improv.

According to Diana’s post, comedian Jerry Seinfeld was able to pass him on during his audition, which led to him becoming a regular.

He and Kasten had a long-standing friendship.
