Kate Rackham, a 39-year-old mother of two from Manchester, England, posted a heartbreaking message on her Twitter page shortly after she was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer.
She then sadly passed away. In her post, she wrote that if anyone reads it, she has already died.
She held a copy of it in her account, which she referred to as “Teacher with Cancer,” before going away.
She urged her followers not to cry for her, as it means that she has already died. Instead, she stated that she has lived her life on her terms.
She also thanked her followers for helping her feel more validated and less alone.
During her cancer journey, Kate communicated with her followers through her updates and feelings.
She posted her last health update on June 7.
She stated that doctors told her that there is nothing that they can do to prolong her life.
She then went home to be with her family.
She wrote that the last week has been incredibly overwhelming.
She said that she needed time to get used to the words that were delivered to her by doctors.
Now, she is back home, surrounded by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Mark and her two daughters, Nancy and Ruby.
