Tragic Reason Behind Plane Crash That Killed Family of Five Revealed

 The small plane carrying five family members from Georgia crashed in New York on Sunday afternoon. According to the NTSB, the aircraft was flying through storm activity when it crashed.

A spokesperson for the agency noted that the flight tracking data of the plane was lost around 12 minutes after it left the Alfred S. Nader Airport in Oneonta.

The NTSB noted that the plane left Oneonta and was flying toward Charleston, West Virginia, when it encountered an unknown technical issue.

The agency also stated that there was storm activity around the time of the crash.

The five individuals who died were identified as Harrison, 10, James, 12, Ryan, 42, Laura, 43, and 77-year-old Roger Beggs.

According to the police, the passengers were from Georgia and were in New York to attend a baseball tournament.

The aircraft crashed in a town known as Masonville. According to the NTSB, the debris field from the crash is about a mile long. The agency also noted that the plane’s rudder was missing.

The NTSB is asking people who may have spotted debris from the aircraft to contact investigators.

The agency noted that the plane would be taken to an offsite facility to be examined further.

On Monday, Brian Kemp, the governor of Georgia, referred to the incident as tragic. He asked the public to pray for the victims’ families.

Kemp also noted that the state’s government would do whatever it could to help the families of the victims.
