On his 78th birthday, Donald Trump gave a speech in Florida, where he criticized his opponent in the November election, Joe Biden, stating that he was too old to serve a second term.
He also referred to Biden as incompetent.
Trump made the suggestion during his speech at a convention center, which was about a 20-minute drive from his Mar-a-Lago resort.
He was able to address members of his fan club, Club 47.
As part of the event, the audience members were able to throw colored balloons at a massive cake, which was brought out by the event’s organizers.
The cake was made with a gold-colored base and featured various elements, such as a baseball cap with the Club 47 logo and an American flag.
It also featured a depiction of Trump playing golf and the oval office, which were both fitted with gold frames.
During Trump’s speech, the audience members shouted “USA!” and “Happy Birthday” to the Republican presidential nominee.
However, backstage, some of his campaign staff members were served a sheet cake with vanilla frosting.
The event, which was held in his adopted home state, sold out of 5,000 tickets.
According to Larry Snowden, the president of Club 47, the closest spots to the stage cost around $60.
Trump referred to the event as his biggest birthday party yet. He received a standing ovation from the audience as he listed off his campaign’s various plans.
These include cutting taxes, reducing regulations, and encouraging domestic energy production.
Despite his often negative comments about Biden, Trump still managed to deliver a message to his supporters.
He encouraged them to early vote and also to cast their ballots in person on Election Day.
However, he later noted that he did not need their support.
