US Hero Pat Tillman’s Mom SLAMS Decision to Honor Prince Harry With Son’s Award

Prince Harry,  the Duke of Sussex, is scheduled to receive an ESPY award for his work on the Invictus Games.

However, the mother of the man he inspired is not happy with the honor.

ESPN announced last Thursday that the royal would be receiving an award for his service to the community.

The ESPY awards will be televised on ABC on July 11.

In a statement, ESPN said that it was honoring Prince Harry due to his work with the Invictus Games Foundation.

It noted that the organization, which started 10 years ago, is dedicated to helping wounded warriors and military service members heal through the power of sports.

The sports network also stated that it believes that this is a cause that deserves to be celebrated.

In 2014, ESPN established the award to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to the community.

One of the individuals who was honored was Pat Tillman, a former US Army Ranger who left his career to serve the country.

In 2004, Tillman was killed in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan.

According to ESPN, Harry has created an international platform that supports wounded, sick, and active-duty military service members and veterans who are suffering from invisible and physical injuries. Mary Tillman, Pat’s mother, disagrees with the network’s decision to honor the royal.

According to the Daily Mail, Mary Tillman was shocked by ESPN’s decision to honor Harry, who she said was a divisive and controversial individual.

She also stated that other deserving individuals should be recognized for their efforts to help veterans, but these people don’t have the same privileges and resources that the royal has.

Mary Tillman distanced herself from the Pat Tillman Foundation.

Besides Mary Tillman, there are other people who are unhappy with the ESPY award given to Prince Harry.

A petition on Change.org has already gained over 32,000 signatures.
