According to Christine Negroni, an author who specializes in aviation mysteries, leggings could cause severe burns or even kill passengers if an onboard fire breaks out or a plane crashes.
She noted that people could also get separated from the aircraft after a fire broke out on the ground.
Although everyone is currently wearing yoga pants on airplanes, Christine advises against using artificial fibers as they are more likely to stick to passengers in the event of a fire.
